Internal Control

 The internal control and risk management mechanism aim is to provide reasonable assurance that risks are under control and that objectives will be met.

In this way, in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations, the mechanism contributes to the management of our activities, the effectiveness of our operations and the efficient use of our resources. The effectiveness of the internal control and risk management mechanism (whether operational, financial or compliance-related) is central to the Group’s organization and its management and control activities.

Controls are carried out, for each identified process, by all of the Group’s departments and employees. Overall management of the mechanism falls within the remit of the Executive Committee and the Finance Department who reports to the Audit and Risks Committee and the Board of Directors on the effectiveness of the mechanism in place.

For each of the seven categories, risks are identified according to their level of criticality as assessed during the risk mapping process, according to the key below.

The risks covered below that also give rise to CSR risks are identified by the CSR pictogram.

Following the update of the risk analysis, the risk factor "Visibility toward end markets and customer demand" is now assessed as "Major" and is therefore included in the risk map (assessed as "Moderate" in the previous year).

 

The "Attracting talent" risk has been renamed "Talent management" and expanded to include not only risks relating to talent retention, but also risks relating to skills management.
