After joining Soitec in May 2022, Pierre Barnabé formally took up the position of Chief Executive Officer on 26 July, 2022. Between 2015 and 2021, he was Executive Vice-President of the Atos group in charge of the Big Data & Cybersecurity (BDS) division. He also managed the group’s Public Services & Defense, then Manufacturing activities. He was interim group CEO in 2021.

Before its acquisition by Atos in 2014, he was the Deputy CEO of Bull, the unique European leader in supercomputing, electronics for Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity and cyberdefense from 2013 to 2015.

From 2011 to 2013, he was Managing Director of the Enterprise branch of the French Telco SFR, where he launched cloud computing and very high-speed broadband activities. From 1998 to 2013, he held various positions at Alcatel then Alcatel-Lucent, first in sales, then as Chairman & Managing Director of Alcatel-Lucent France (formerly Alcatel CIT), before becoming Deputy Managing Director of the group in charge of Human Resources and Transformation.

Pierre Barnabé has been knighted in the French National Order of Merit. Pierre Barnabé graduated from the NEOMA Business School and the Ecole Centrale de Paris.

Léa Alzingre joined Soitec in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer.

After gaining a solid experience in audit at KPMG, where she spent 10 years from 2005 to 2015, Léa was VP Finance of the semiconductor division at Teledyne between 2015 and 2018, before joining Adeunis, a start-up specialized in IoT sensors and solutions listed on Euronext Growth, as CFO.

Léa graduated summa cum laude from SKEMA business school.

Steve Babureck is Executive Vice President, Strategy & Investor Relations of Soitec. He joined the company in 2011 and held various positions within our Group since 2011, including head of the finance department of the solar business in the United States, head of strategic marketing, and head of Group investor relations in San Diego and Singapore.

He previously worked as a financial analyst at Natixis and then at BNP Paribas (Exane) in Paris and London.

As an Engineer in Materials Science and graduate of Polytech Nantes, he completed his education with a Specialized Master’s degree at ESCP Europe.

Emmanuelle Bely joined Soitec in January 2023 as Executive Vice President and General Secretary. In this role, she will also serve as member of Soitec’s Executive Committee and as Secretary of the Board of Directors.

Emmanuelle Bely graduated from ESSEC, holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a member of the Paris and Madrid bars. She began her career as an M&A lawyer for 14 years in France and the United States with French and international law firms. In 2007, she was appointed General Counsel and Human Resources Director of the Smithfield Group in Paris.

Following the merger of the Smithfield Group and Campofrio in 2008, she was promoted to Group General Counsel, based in Madrid. Emmanuelle Bely joined Danone in September 2014 in Paris and initially held various positions within the General Secretariat in Europe, including VP General Secretary for Regions, General Counsel for Partnerships, and VP General Secretary for Waters and Africa and the Southern Cone region.

She has also been a member of the Business Community at Mission since its creation in 2018.

Ruth Hernandez joined Soitec in January 2025 as Chief Sales Officer. Ruth has 25 years of experience in the Semiconductors industry. She started her journey in Texas Instruments, where she held a number of sales management roles in different segments and geographies. After 7 years in TI, she joined Maxim Integrated and became Vice president of EMEA Sales and Marketing. More recently, prior to joining Soitec, she was the Sales VP and EMEA Region Head for GlobalFoundries.

Ruth earned a Bachelor and a Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the same university.

René Jonker, Senior Vice-President for Smart devices, has over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience.

After beginning his career at Philips Semiconductors, he transitioned to NXP, leading an RF IC development site in the US, and continued to work on FE technology from Singapore. René later joined Nexperia in Hong Kong as head of Operations and subsequently became Operations Manager for Automotive at ams Osram in Singapore.

His international experience spans Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and Singapore, where he is based, showcasing his proficiency in managing multi-site and multicultural teams.

Jean-Marc Le Meil, Senior Vice-President for Mobile Communications Division, has over 30 years of experience in semiconductors.

In 2022 he led the consolidation of three business units into the Mobile Communications division. Before joining Soitec in 1999, he held various managerial positions in process, yield and devices engineering at Matra MHS, Cypress Semiconductors and Atmel.

Jean-Marc holds a master’s in Material Sciences from Polytech Nantes.

Christophe Maleville has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Soitec’s Innovation.

He joined Soitec in 1993 and was a driving force behind the company’s joint research activities with CEA-Leti. For several years, he led new SOI process development, oversaw SOI technology transfer from R&D to production, and managed customer certifications. He also served as vice president, SOI Products Platform at Soitec, working closely with key customers worldwide.

Maleville has authored or co-authored more than 30 papers and also holds some 30 patents. He has a PhD in microelectronics from Grenoble Institute of Technology and obtained an executive MBA from INSEAD.

Cyril Menon is Soitec’s Operations Excellence & Quality Chief Operations Officer. Previously, he served as a manager for process, equipment and yield departments and has been director of the Bernin headquarters site from 2012 to 2018. He guided production activities to optimize operational performance. He has been with the company since 2006.

Prior to joining Soitec, he worked as device engineering manager and later process manager at IBM Semiconductor, where he was in charge of developing processes, transferring technologies and increasing production.

Menon earned a master's degree in physics from the Grenoble Institut Polytechnique (Institute of Technology - INP), a thesis in microelectronics from the Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology and a Management Degree from Harvard Business School.

As Senior Vice-President for Automotive & Industrial, Emmanuel is notably in charge of Soitec’s strategic silicon carbide programme (SmartSiC™). He previously served as chief executive of CEA-Leti (2017-2021) and held senior management positions at Philips Lighting, private equity firm Gimv, and General Cable.

Emmanuel started his career at Schneider Electric and Alstom/Areva and holds a Physics PhD from Ecole centrale de Lyon, an IT Engineering degree from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and an MBA from Grenoble Graduate School of Management.

Caroline Sasia joined Soitec in September 2022 as Senior Vice President, Head of Communications & Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, she joined Soitec’s Executive Committee.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Caroline Sasia has a strong expertise in designing and executing communications strategies in complex and dynamic international environments with a focus on high-tech, mobility, and sustainability sectors. Before joining Soitec Caroline spent most of her career at the Renault Group and at the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance where she held various roles in communications, strategy, and public affairs.

Caroline Sasia graduated from Sciences Po Paris.

Jeannette Schuh joined Soitec as Chief Human Resources Officer in October 2023. In this role, she is part of Soitec’s Executive Committee.

Jeannette Schuh has extensive experience in all fields of human resources management in international settings. Prior to joining Soitec, she served as Vice President Human Resources and Communication within Plastic Omnium, where she led a global network of 200 HR professionals. She has also held various leadership roles within Valeo, Faurecia, Bel and SCHOTT.

Jeannette Schuh holds an Executive MBA in International Human Resources Management from IGS School Paris, a master’s degree in French and German economics and law from the University of Freiburg and a master’s degree in social sciences from the University of Esslingen.
