I am an Excellence & IS Procurement Leader. My role is to improve tools and processes to make daily work easier for the teams and to support decision-making. What motivates me is solving problems and providing practical help: when someone comes to me with an issue, and I can identify the source of the problem, analyze it, and quickly find a useful solution, I really feel like I am in the right place.
A confident start at Soitec
I started my career in the Paris region, first at IBM and then at the French Volleyball Federation, a sport I have been playing since the age of 15. My husband and I wanted to leave Paris, and we took the opportunity to move to Grenoble, where I worked on an initial temporary assignment. After this experience, I was considering a career change when Soitec contacted me for an assistant position. At the time, I was pregnant but that didn't stop them from hiring me. This gesture left a deep impression on me and already reflected the strong values carried by the Group. Twenty years later, I am still at Soitec.
From assistant to procurement: a tailor-made career path
I began at Soitec as an executive assistant in supply chain, then moved into procurement as a procurement technician. I later resumed my studies alongside my job and obtained a Master’s degree in Procurement, which led to the creation of a Business Analyst role designed specifically for my profile.
Committed to defending the values of sport
For the past ten years, I have been a volunteer at the Fédération Sportive et Gymnique du Travail (FSGT), which promotes values that are close to my heart: inclusion, accessibility, and solidarity. I joined the volleyball club in Crolles on the recommendation of a colleague and quickly took on responsibilities, first in organizing events, then within the departmental committee. It is a very dynamic structure, organizing championships open to all levels, with a strong culture of sharing.
Today, I am treasurer of the Crolles club and coordinator of the women’s volleyball championship within the departmental committee. Volunteering has always been a natural choice to me. If we want things to work, people have to get involved. I have always been a volunteer in sports clubs whether as a player, a coach, or committee member.
What volunteering and work bring to each other
In both my professional role and my volunteer work, I have the same desire: to make things move forward together. Working as a team, thinking collectively, being useful. My professional skills also help me in my volunteer work: structuring, clarifying, simplifying. For example, I set up tools to make it easier to manage registrations and the club’s accounts.
A highlight and a dream
One of my best memories was organizing the FSGT national finals in Isère in 2016. Welcoming 40 teams, managing all the logistics, and ending with a big festive evening was an unforgettable experience so much that we are already talking about organizing a new edition for the tenth anniversary!
After attending the Paris Olympics as a spectator, I now have a dream: to combine travel, volleyball, and volunteering by taking part in the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028, at the beach volleyball or volleyball venue.
