A rich career serving finance

I began my career in internal audit before joining several major companies such as Bull, Fnac, Becton Dickinson, and Pechiney as a management controller. My role was mainly to structure or revitalize management control departments or to implement new methodologies. These experiences allowed me to build solid expertise, which I was eager to put at the service of an entrepreneurial and high-potential industrial project like Soitec.

Since joining in 1998, I have had the opportunity to set up several departments within the company: first management control, then treasury. Today, I am responsible for financing, working directly with our banking partners to support Soitec’s projects by securing the best possible financing conditions.

A role rich in collaboration

What I particularly value in these responsibilities is the richness of human relationships, both internal and external. I have the privilege of working with remarkable people whose expertise and commitment are truly inspiring. I also have the opportunity to promote Soitec to banks by highlighting its human strengths, which are the true foundation of its sustainability. Securing competitive financing that concretely supports the teams’ projects is extremely motivating. And of course, nothing is ever achieved alone: it is always through close collaboration with operational teams and support functions (accounting, management control, legal, sustainability, etc.) that we reach a level of excellence comparable to that of major CAC 40 companies.

Volunteering: a blend of warmth and solidarity

I am also part of Copines et Patata, a group of volunteers who create handmade items that we then donate to associations for their charity sales. These are unique pieces—embroidered bags, reusable wipes, hanging hearts, keychains, stationery, and more. They are sold at events benefiting local organizations such as Le Tichodrome, SPA Dauphiné, Cosa Animalia, Cheval Espoir 38, or Les P’tits Poilus de la Grotte.

I coordinate the group and manage relationships with the associations we support. We meet about once a month in a very convivial atmosphere. We create based on our own inspiration but also according to the needs expressed by the associations. I also manage the Cheval Espoir 38 boutique directly. Our organization is flexible: everyone contributes according to their time and creativity.

My commitment to animal welfare is long-standing. At some point, I felt the need to go beyond simple financial donations. Surrounded by friends who were passionate about machine embroidery and looking for a project, this initiative naturally took shape—useful, creative, and a way to strengthen bonds.

Each sale is a highlight. Knowing that our creations support causes close to our hearts and attract buyers or curious visitors to the stands of the associations we support gives true meaning to our commitment. We are always happy to welcome new talents in order to provide even more items for associations to sell.

Although the contexts are very different, I find common skills between this activity and my work: organization, listening, and the ability to bring people together. And in both cases, what matters most are the human relationships.

And beyond all that?

In parallel, I serve as Regional Delegate for the French Association of Corporate Treasurers (AFTE), where I lead a very dynamic network of professional exchanges around our fields.

On a more personal level, I would like to deepen my commitment to animal protection, perhaps through a field mission with an organization such as Sea Shepherd, whose values I share. I am deeply inspired by its founder, Paul Watson, for his uncompromising dedication and decades of energy devoted to defending the oceans. He is a true example of coherence between convictions and actions.

I would also like to train in communication to help associations better structure their fundraising campaigns. Contributing more effectively to a cause close to my heart is a strong personal goal.

Finally, I practice several sports regularly—horseback riding, yoga, and weight training—which bring me balance and energy. I also dedicate time to reading, a privileged way to recharge and open myself to new perspectives.
