QHSE Policy
Our actions in terms of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
The goal of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policy is to actively contribute to the performance and sustainability of Soitec, based on principles of ongoing improvement and sustainable development. Thanks to actions implemented, our production sites are certified ISO45001, IATF16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
Our Bernin site is ISO 45001, IATF16949, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001 and OEA certified .
Our Pasis Ris site is ISO 9001 and IATF16949 certified.
WE HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
It allows us to regularly assess our actions and performance.
We undertake to dedicate the resources necessary to make this system effective, namely:
- by engaging and empowering staff throughout the organization
- by measuring the confidence of our customers and the compliance of our suppliers
- by following legislation, regulations, standards and other requirements
- by analyzing and preventing risks
- by implementing a strategy of ongoing improvement of performance and cost reduction
EACH YEAR, WE REVIEW THE GOALS OF OUR CORPORTE STRATEGIC PLAN

Quality
- Upgrading our standards to achieve excellence in products and services and to fully and continuously comply with customers’ expectations
- Measuring our quality performance and driving systemic, continuous improvement
- Enhancing interactions with our customers and suppliers for better responsiveness
- Developing employees’ skills and their daily commitment to quality
- Promoting a Quality culture by strengthening improvement and effectiveness of processes and involving our suppliers
Safety and Health
- Developing Safety culture and Aiming at "Zero Accident"
- Preventing occupational diseases and psychosocial risks
- Reducing risks at workstations
- Preventing the industrial risks and major crisis
Environment
- Reducing the direct and indirect GreenHouse Gases to a level compatible with Paris Agreement 1,5°C pathway
- Preserving water resource by reducing natural environment withdrawals and increasing its recyclability
- Preventing impacts on the environment and on biodiversity of manufacturing sites
- Developing, producing and selling innovative products improving environmental performance on their entire life cycle
