Our 1,300 employees represent 25 nationalities and work in some 10 countries. They hold positions stretching across 13 professional “families” in the electronics and solar energy industries.

One of the major job families at Soitec is product and technology development. Positions include research and development, project quality assurance, technical support, sales, materials and equipment purchasing, marketing, and business development. The career opportunities are extremely diverse with numerous occasions to move from one type of position to another. This is true for technicians as well as for engineers.

Another important family of professions is directly related to our production activities and encompasses process support and integration, prototyping, production management, supply chain operations, and production infrastructure and equipment management. Our operators, technicians, and engineers are all highly qualified and work day in and day out to make sure production is running as intended. They also ensure the continuous improvement of our industrial processes.

The third family of professions concerns the support functions that help our company run smoothly. These include IT, quality, safety, environment, finance, legal, communication, human resources, administration, and vendor management. With training, employees in these positions can move to other types of positions within the company.

The last family of professions is strategic management and project management. These positions can be cross-disciplinary in nature and can cover virtually all of the professions represented at Soitec.
